From the Service Entrance to the Last Switch Plate.

Wiring packages for new construction, honest remodel electrical, and commercial tenant improvements, all scoped from the plans and priced line by line.

New-Construction Wiring

+

Complete wiring packages for ground-up homes, ADUs, and additions: service, panel, branch circuits, and device trim, planned around the framing instead of fought in after it.

Remodel Electrical

+

Kitchens, baths, and whole-house remodels: new circuits, relocated devices, and existing wiring evaluated honestly, with new work brought to current code.

Panel & Service Upgrades

+

Main panel replacements and service upgrades when the load calc calls for it, coordinated with the utility and the inspection sequence, not bolted on as an afterthought.

EV Charger Installs

+

Level 2 charging at home or at the business: the dedicated circuit, the load calculation, and the panel capacity to support it, permitted and inspected like the rest of our work.

Commercial Tenant Improvements

+

TI electrical for offices, retail, gyms, studios, and restaurants: power, circuiting, and lighting built to the tenant's plans and the landlord's requirements.

Lighting

Why NRG Electric

An Electrical Contractor That Builds, Not Just Wires.

NRG Electric is part of the same family company as NRG Construction and NRG Roofing: three licensed trades, one standard of work.

Our Own Electricians

CSLB C-10 #1052468 +

The crew that bids your job is the crew that wires it. No brokered labor and no mystery subs. Our name is on the license and on the work.

Built Like a Builder

Family company w/ CSLB B #1059515 +

Because our family company is also a general contractor, we read electrical scope the way a builder does: sequencing, structure, and the other trades in the room.

Permits & Inspections Handled

Pulled Under Our License +

We pull the electrical permit, schedule the inspections, and walk them with the inspector, rough and final, so corrections get resolved by the people who did the work.

That builder's eye shows up in cleaner rough-ins, fewer surprises at inspection, and proposals a GC can slot straight into a budget, because we sit on that side of the table too.

Who We Work With

Homeowners, GCs, and Commercial Tenants.

Homeowners

+

Remodel wiring, panel upgrades, and lighting for your house, explained in plain English, priced in writing, and inspected under our license, not around it.

General Contractors

+

A licensed electrical sub that reads plans, returns a unit-priced bid, hits the rough-in window, and keeps its paperwork clean, because we sit on your side of the table too.

Commercial Tenants

+

Tenant-improvement electrical for the space you're leasing, scoped from the TI drawings and coordinated with your landlord's requirements and the building's schedule.

How It Works

Scoped From the Plans. Priced Line by Line.

01

Scope & Walkthrough

We review your drawings or walk the space and flag the things that decide an electrical budget (service capacity, panel condition, circuit counts, and what the code will require) before you commit to anything.

02

Unit-Priced Proposal

Your proposal is built from counts off the actual plans (fixtures, devices, circuits), each line unit-priced, with inclusions and exclusions in writing. Real numbers, not an allowance with a contingency hiding inside it.

03

Rough-In Through Final

Our electricians rough-in, trim, and finish the work; we pull the permit, schedule the inspections, and see them through to sign-off, with one company accountable from first wire to final.

FAQ

What People Ask Before Hiring an Electrician.

Do you handle both residential and commercial work?+

Yes. Under CSLB C-10 #1052468 we wire new homes, ADUs, and remodels on the residential side, and commercial tenant improvements on the commercial side. The estimating is the same either way: scope from the plans, unit-priced lines, inclusions and exclusions in writing.

Can you upgrade my panel as part of a remodel?+

Yes, and a remodel is often the right time to do it: the walls are open and the inspector is already coming. We run the load calculation, price the panel or service upgrade as its own line so you can see the cost, and coordinate the utility and inspection sequence so the upgrade doesn't stall the rest of the job.

Do you pull the permits and handle inspections?+

Yes. Electrical permits are pulled under our C-10 license, and we schedule and walk the rough and final inspections ourselves. If the inspector writes a correction, the crew that did the work resolves it. You're never left brokering between an electrician and the building department.

Can you bid an electrical scope from our plans?+

That's how we prefer to work. Send the drawings and we'll return a unit-priced proposal built from actual plan takeoffs (device and fixture counts, circuits, panel work) with inclusions and exclusions spelled out. GCs get a bid they can slot straight into their budget; owners get numbers they can compare honestly.

Have you done commercial tenant improvements before?+

Yes. TI electrical is part of our regular commercial work: offices, gyms, studios, retail, and restaurant spaces. We build to the tenant's plans and the landlord's build-out requirements, coordinate with the building's schedule and other trades, and keep the documentation clean for the landlord's file and the final inspection. See it in our work.
